F = F – G – Ab – Bb – C – Db – Eb – F
G = G – A – Bb – C – D – Eb – F – G
A = A – B – C – D – E – F – G – A
B = B – C# – D – E – F# – G – A – B
C# = C# – D# – E – F# – G# – A – B – C#
Now its not possible to memorize all the above given scales. There is an easy way to do this, the notes change after every whole step – half step – whole step – whole step – half step – whole step – whole step or simply put w – h – w – w – h – w – w.
Example : C Minor
The 12 notes including the 8 notes of C minor scale are :
-----w-----h-----–w—----– w------h------w--------w----C – C# – D – Eb – E – F – F# – G – Ab – A – Bb – B – C
